Engine and Seawater Cooling

Corrosion-resistant solution for efficient and maintenance-free cooling applications on board.

Application

Continuos and Durable Engine Fluid Flow Solution

Marine machinery systems generate significant heat, requiring efficient cooling to prevent malfunctions. Our advanced plastic piping systems are crucial in two key systems:

Sea Water Cooling System: Seawater directly cools machinery via heat exchangers. Our corrosion-resistant, incrustation-free plastic pipes ensure long-lasting performance.

Freshwater Cooling System: A closed circuit using freshwater cools engine room machinery. Heated freshwater is further cooled by seawater. Our chemical-resistant plastic pipes maintain system integrity and allow seamless heat transfer up to +60°C. They handle varying flow rates based on engine load and seawater temperatures. The use of durable materials like PE100 ensures compatibility with high and low-temperature circuits, facilitating easy maintenance and operational continuity.

Thanks to HEAT-FIT, cooling in essential service areas such as machinery spaces and pump rooms of the category A and B and accommodation service and control spaces and open decks of classes J and K according to the fire endurance matrix is in accordance with IMO regulations.
