Neutralization

In nearly every water treatment process, the water is to be pH adjusted for meeting the treatment requirements. As an example, waste water needs to be neutralized before being discharged into public waste water treatment plants. Drinking water produced by reverse osmosis also has to be pH adjusted according to the local drinking water regulations. Alkaline or acidic waste water is regulated by adjusting the pH value. For alkaline neutralization, several chemicals like caustic soda are generally used directly or in combination with a precipitation of soda solution. GF Piping Systems, with its custom-made solutions in measurement and control technology, offers high process reliability and cost optimization in this cost-intensive area.
