Michaela Eichenberger, Senior Material Engineer at GF Piping Systems

Michaela Eichenberger, a Senior Materials Engineer is part of the GF Technology Center in Schaffhausen. With 17 years of experience she is responsible for support, evaluation and development of materials for new and existing applications.  Ensuring that all technical and regulatory requirements are met is an important aspect of her daily work. Working on varied projects in international teams with both internal and external partners is what excites her about her job. Sustainability of our materials became one of her rather new areas of expertise where she is taking on new challenges to contribute to our Strategy 2025 targets.

Helio Rosas, Chairman at Brazilian Trenchless Society, ABRATT​

Helio Rosas graduated as a civil engineer in 1982 and started training in Heiden, Switzerland, in a company that specialized in underground pipeline locations. After returning to Brazil, he started working on an engineering project and consulting company in the sanitation area. He joined the Cetesb (EPA) in the state of São Paulo and completed his Master of Science. In 1988 he went to Germany to improve his knowledge at Siemens in Frankfurt-Germany. After his return to São Paulo, he founded his company, and his first job was a TV inspection contract. His focus was to introduce No-Dig Technology in Brazil, and he has been working on it since the beginning. He is also the chairman of the Brazilian Association of Trenchless Technology - ABRATT for the third consecutive term since 2016.

Valdir Flore, Projects and Sanitation Works Director at DMAE Porto Alegre, Brazil

Valdir Flores is a Civil Engineer graduated from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), Brazil, specialized in Water Drainage from Institute of Hydraulic Research (IPH/UFRGS) and National Institute of Agrarian Reform and Development (IRYDA, Spain). Projects and Sanitation Works Director at the city of Porto Alegre, Brazil, where he is responsible for the usage and development of Polyethylene for the last three decades, both at his private company's projects and within the main companies of sanitation in Brazil, as speaker and instructor.
