Methodology

Our training programs begin with multiple micro-learning modules that are completed online and at your own pace. They are tailor-made to deliver focused and specific information in a short period of time. This serves as a foundation for the next step in our programs - specialized hands-on training with one of our expert instructors for practical application and real-world experience. Where available, XR training may be used to enhance the learning experience in a highly immersive and interactive learning environment.

Certification

Upon successful completion of all steps, learners will be awarded a certificate by the Global Academy. There are several levels of certification available in each field of study, with different validity periods depending on the technology. Our certificates are recognized globally and are even required by some of the most prominent organizations in certain industries.

Offered by GF Piping Systems Global Academy, this training program provides field installers and technicians the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become a Certified Butt Fusion Welder on the specific GF Butt Fusion Machine for your application.  

Certified Electrofusion Inspector

Offered by GF Piping Systems Global Academy, these training programs provides field installers and technicians the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become a Certified Electrofusion Inspector.

Certified Electrofusion Installer 

Offered by GF Piping Systems Global Academy, these training programs provides field installers and technicians the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become a Certified Electrofusion Installer. The Global Academy currently offers two certifications: Electrofusion Installer for pipe sizes up to 12 IPS, and Large Diameter Couplings (LDC) Electrofusion Installer for pipe sizes 14 IPS and up. 

Certified Electrofusion Welder 

Offered by GF Piping Systems Global Academy, this training program provides field installers and technicians the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become a Certified Electrofusion Welder. Currently, the Global Academy offers certification for professional use of all GF Piping Systems MSA electrofusion welding machines. 

Certified Infrared (IR) Fusion Inspector  

Offered by GF Piping Systems Global Academy, these training programs provides field installers and technicians the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become a Certified Infrared (IR) Fusion Inspector. 

Certified Infrared (IR) Fusion Welder 

Offered by GF Piping Systems Global Academy, this training program provides field installers and technicians the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become a Certified Infrared (IR) Fusion Welder on the specific GF IR Fusion Machine for your application.

Certified Mechanical Connections Installer 

Offered by GF Piping Systems Global Academy, this training program provides field installers and technicians the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become a Certified Mechanical Connections Installer. This training program certifies you for professional installation of all GF Piping Systems mechanical connections.

Certified Socket Fusion Welder 

Offered by GF Piping Systems Global Academy, this training program provides field installers and technicians the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become a Certified Socket Fusion Welder. This training program covers all GF Piping Systems socket fusion welding machines. 

Certified Solvent Cementer 

Offered by GF Piping Systems Global Academy, this training program provides field installers and technicians the foundational knowledge and practical skills to become a Certified Solvent Cementer. This training program certifies you for professional solvent cement welding of all GF Piping Systems products.
