Elmar Hufschmid

Elmar Hufschmid is Head of Global R&D Process Automation at GF Piping Systems since June 2020. Prior to joining GF, Elmar worked for more than 15 years for Endress+Hauser where he held various R&D management and development positions. He was responsible for global, interdisciplinary development teams in electronics-, software- and mechanical engineering, also with a focus on IIoT, Industry 4.0 and Connectivity. Elmar holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering and a master's degree ETH in Management, Technology, and Economics.
