We look forward to welcoming you to Hamburg and exploring how our solutions can benefit your operations.
As the marine industry advances towards greater efficiency and sustainability, the choice of pipe and valve materials becomes increasingly important. Attend our speech on the Green Stage, and learn more how our innovative solutions can significantly enhance ship performance while reducing environmental impact.
When & Where: Green Stage Hall A4 on 06 September 2024, from 1:35 p.m. to 1:45 p.m.
Speaker: Roberto Chiesa, Head of Business Development Marine.
Visit booth #211 in Hall A2 to experience our innovations in thermoplastic and learn how they help make ship operations more environmentally friendly.
Embrace the cold: Make your cooling circuit more efficient with robust pre-insulated plastic pipes and fittings for secondary cooling loops. Designed and optimized for fast and easy installation with electrofusion technology and an expected service life of at least 25 years of operations with zero interruptions and maintenance. The reliable and efficient alternative to post-insulated metal piping systems is ideal for HVAC/R and refrigeration applications requiring energy-efficient cooling.
Ultimate fire protection: HEAT-FIT, the fire retardant solution for plastic pipes, brings lightweight, corrosion-free thermoplastic piping systems in essential applications (L3 areas) on board. The system, consisting of pipes and fittings, copes with the strict regulations of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and makes Polyethylene Piping Systems (PE100) resistant to flame temperatures of 1000°C for at least 30 minutes under pressure of 3 bar.
See the difference: The corrosion-free drainage system SeaDrain White is ideal for black and grey water applications. Made of polypropylene and designed for electrofusion and fast-lock jointing, the system is lightweight and fast to install. Thanks to its bright white colour, no additional painting is required after installation, reducing installation time and cost.
Beats metal in every round: The new Butterfly Valve 565, available in a waver and lug-style version, helps to optimize piping systems built for water applications on board. Made of high-quality plastics, the valve does not corrode, is 60% lighter than metal solutions and allows easy and direct replacement of existing plastic or metal valves. The 565 Lug-Style comes with many marine and water approvals, including NSF, DNV, Lloyds Register, and KTW-BWGL. Furthermore, it is the first industrial valve with an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD).
Get hands-on: At our outdoor booth in front of Hall A2, explore our marine-approved portfolio of water solutions, including fresh hot and cold water applications and durable plastic materials ideal for year-round water transport on board. Visit our trailer to discuss which pipe and fitting materials best suit your onboard water applications. Experience firsthand the installation benefits of our systems.
