Regina Halmich has had a much-noticed and successful career as a professional boxer, during which the "boxing queen" became world champion in flyweight several times. Regina Halmich (*1976) started her sporting career as a judoka at the age of eleven. Through karate and kickboxing, she finally came to boxing and, as an amateur boxer, became German champion three times between 1992 and 1994 and European champion in 1994. In 1994, she became professional European champion in super flyweight and successfully defended her title the following year. In the same year she became World Champion of the "Women International Boxing Federation" in Junior Flyweight. Between 1998 and 2000 she was WIBF world champion in flyweight, as well as in 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007. After that she ended her professional boxing career. In the course of her successful career, she fought 56 professional fights, 48 of which were world championship fights - she won 46 fights. After the end of her boxing career, Regina Halmich is occasionally seen as co-host and expert in TV broadcasts of boxing fights. She is also known for her show boxing fights against TV presenter Stefan Raab and as presenter of "The Biggest Loser" in 2010 and 2011. 2008 she is the protagonist of the documentary film "Queen in the Ring", which was awarded the Hessian Film Prize. Regina Halmich has received numerous awards, including several times the Golden Pyramid and the Boxer of the Year award. In 1997, she was voted the world's best boxer by the WIBF and in 2013 she received the Order of Merit of the State of Baden-Württemberg. In the summer of 2014 she was inducted into the Boxing Hall of Fame in Florida. Regina Halmich also does a lot of voluntary work. She is committed to the Weisser Ring association, which supports victims of crime. She is also patron of the campaign "Violence against women - Not with us" at the German Olympic Sports Federation.

As the son of a German saleswoman and a U.S. soldier, Chris Brow grew up in Germany and the United States of America. At a young age, he got to know both school systems and learned to mediate between the cultures. So it was obvious that at the age of 8 he had the big career wish to become a "German U.S. President" one day. Chris always wanted to make a difference and he loved the big show. 15 years later, he didn't go into politics, but he did complete an apprenticeship as an event manager at a Düsseldorf event agency. Shortly after that, it was clear to him: "I'm going my own way." So Chris started out on his own as a freelance presenter. U.S. President then became another ... because Chris prefers to move the masses differently. In addition to his job as a presenter for events and TV, Chris is part of the permanent staff of the successful band "Fresh Music Live" and supports them as a rapper at home and abroad. Thanks to his distinct empathy, the "certain something", his humor and the constant joy of entertainment, he was able to make a name for himself with international customers within a few years.

As a mechanical engineer at MEYER WERFT in Papenburg, Nils Steinfelder is responsible for piping systems and valves in various new shipbuilding projects. In addition to the technical responsibility within the shipbuilding projects, both the cooperation with innovative partners and the development of new solutions are important components of his daily work.

I am the managing director of PK Watertech. After many years of working as an assembly manager in plant construction, I decided to found the company PK Watertech together with my business partner Michael Kästl. The entrepreneurial activity offers me the opportunity to constantly develop and grow. Joost Geginat is the president of GF Piping Systems and a member of the executive committee. He has extensive international experience in strategic and operational consulting in a wide range of industries. Before joining GF Piping Systems, Joost Geginat held several top positions at the strategy consultancy Roland Berger: in Germany as Partner, in Switzerland as Chief Operating Officer and in Singapore as Managing Partner for Southeast Asia. From 2014 to 2016, he was also Senior Managing Director and Partner at Alix Partners LLP in Zurich.

Jens Frisenborg is Head of Business Unit Industry/ Utility at GF Piping Systems and since 2010 a member of the Global Executive Management. In 2000 Frisenborg joined GF Piping Systems and held various roles since then. Before assuming his current role in 2016, he was the Head of Business Unit Europe and Managing Director in Germany, Denmark and Norway at GF Piping Systems. Previously, he gained experience as Market Director at Siemens Building Technologies A/S and as Head of Product System at DAN-LUK A/S in Denmark, among others.

James Jackson is Head of Business Unit Americas and a member of the Global Executive Management at GF Piping Systems. He joined GF Piping Systems in his current position in 2014. Prior to this role, James Jackson worked for GF Piping Systems for 15 years with a focus on North America. He was President and Managing Director of GF North America from 2007 to 2014, before which he held several vice-presidential and managerial roles. His career began at Advanced Industrial Designs, where he worked for five years from 1994.

Sandra Schiller is Heading the Global Product Management Team of the Business Unit Industry at Georg Fischer. She has started her career at GF 16 years ago as junior Product Manager. Particular the close contact to customers and colleagues across the globe make this an ever exciting position to be in. Connecting people and technology has always been among the focus areas of my work.

Michael Smith is Head of Global Product Management for Measurement & Control products at Georg Fischer. He has worked for GF for 7 years, starting as Director of Product Management & Sales Support for GF Signet. Having begun my career as a process engineer, driving a focus on solving customer problems through innovation is a strong passion for me and continues to be a critical part of leading change within the organization.

Greg Sutcliffe is the Head of Global Business Development at Georg Fischer Piping Systems – where his team are responsible for the scanning and assessment of new business opportunities, and transforming them into successful sources of strong growth. He has a background in electronic and electrical engineering, with over 20 years' experience in sales and strategic sales management in the fluidic control realm.

Elmar Hufschmid is Head of Global R&D Process Automation at GF Piping Systems since June 2020. Prior to joining GF, Elmar worked for more than 15 years for Endress+Hauser where he held various R&D management and development positions. He was responsible for global, interdisciplinary development teams in electronics-, software- and mechanical engineering, also with a focus on IIoT, Industry 4.0 and Connectivity. Elmar holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering and a master's degree ETH in Management, Technology, and Economics.

Jochen Hamburger is Product Manager at Georg Fischer Piping System. He is responsible for the global product range of plastic butterfly valves and works very close with the process automation team. His goal is to make valves ready for the digitalization and the sustainable challenges in the future. His daily focus includes product innovation, product development, marketing and sales.

Antoine WALTER facilitates GF's Business Development in the Water Sector. He's also the host of the "(don't) Waste Water" podcast, airing every Wednesday on all platforms. Holding a master's in water and environmental engineering, he's been working for 10 years in the water industry with a special dedication to solution-driven wastewater treatments.
